GIBRALTAR GOVERNMENT WELCOMES NEW MOROCCAN ROUTE
The Government of Gibraltar welcomes the announcement by local company Your Flight
regarding the launch of its charter services from Gibraltar to the Imperial Moroccan city of
Marrakech.
The Hon Neil Costa MP, Minister for Tourism, Commercial Affairs, Public Transport and
the Port said, ‘’The Government welcomes this private undertaking, which will allow
Gibraltarians to explore this fascinating city on a direct flight from their home airport”.
The Chief Minister, the Hon Fabian Picardo said, “The service, which is an entirely private
initiative, launches on Friday 17 April and will be an addition to the network of destinations
served from Gibraltar International Airport. This service is complementary to Government's
strategy of promoting scheduled links to new destinations and open up Gibraltar to new
inbound markets, both for tourism and business. It is a service that I will use in pursuit of
the Government’s policy of developing links with Morocco.”
