In the insurance market, Gibraltar’s insurers reported £5.3bn in gross written premiums in 2020/21 including 64% of the total UK motor market.

Now, Gibraltar is firmly established as one of leading crypto centres in the world with the Crypto Gibraltar conference as its’ annual showcase.

From establishing the world’s first DLT regulatory framework in 2017 to issuing the first full crypto banking license, Gibraltar has consistently been at the vanguard of the crypto movement, constantly promoting the requirement for robust regulation and consumer protection.

The first Gibraltar Fintech Week - incorporating Crypto Gibraltar – will take place from 18th to 20th October 2023. It will bring together all the elements of Gibraltar’s regulated community to discuss the most important trends and developments in each market
